TTM Internship Program 2026

TTM Technologies has a proud tradition of investing in emerging talent through its long-standing internship program. That commitment reached a new high in 2026, when TTM welcomed its largest North American internship class to date. Exactly 94 interns participated across more than 20 locations, gaining a firsthand look at careers in advanced technology and manufacturing.

Learning Through Hands-On Experience

Interns across engineering, information technology, supply chain, marketing, and other disciplines contributed to meaningful projects while building skills for their professional careers. Their experience extended beyond daily assignments through professional development, networking, and exposure to the technologies behind some of the world’s most demanding applications.

For one intern, that hands-on experience meant tackling a challenge in copper plating. During his internship, Andrew Brenner helped evaluate XP8, a new ATOTECH chemistry intended to improve plating capacity and speed. Working alongside engineers and ATOTECH representatives, Brenner ran test boards, prepared cross sections, and shared results to identify optimal chemistry ratios and assess copper thickness against applicable IPC or customer standards.

When early trial runs frequently resulted in rough plating, Brenner learned to embrace the setbacks. He leaned into the challenge, improving how he communicated test findings as the team troubleshot the issues. Supported by a mentor who taught him the fundamentals of copper plating and provided strategic guidance, Brenner stayed on track. “My internship gave me a strong learning foundation to build on as I began my career,” he shared. That resilience paid off: after his internship, TTM brought Brenner on full-time as a Chemical Process Engineer in Surface Finish at the Chippewa Falls facility.

“Our internship program provides students with meaningful, real-world experience and opportunities to build relationships across TTM,” said Nomaan Hussain, Director of Process Engineering for Interconnect Solutions. “By giving emerging professionals opportunities to contribute to meaningful work, we are helping them build valuable skills while strengthening the future talent pipeline for TTM and the broader technology manufacturing industry.”

Bringing Summer Projects to Life

The program culminated in TTM’s North America Summer Technology Intern Expo, hosted at our new Syracuse Diamond facility in New York. Interns presented their major projects to TTM executives, general managers, intern coordinators, and employees, sharing both what they accomplished and what they learned.

Preparing for the expo helped participants strengthen their presentation and communication skills. Each intern created a project overview and refined an elevator pitch explaining their project. Many brought their work to life with 3D models, test materials, and interactive demonstrations.

TTM attendees evaluated the presentations on technical expertise, project knowledge, and delivery. For interns, the expo was an opportunity to practice explaining complex ideas, answering questions, and discussing their contributions with colleagues from all North American facilities.

Take Your Next Step With TTM

Our internship program continues to grow around a shared goal: helping emerging professionals gain practical experience, build relationships, and explore where their talents can take them.
