Supporting the Joint Force
The Joint Force depends on secure, reliable electronics to detect threats, maintain communications, and coordinate multi-domain operations. TTM Technologies supports those requirements through advanced printed circuit boards ("PCB"s), radio frequency ("RF") assemblies, microelectronics, and integrated mission systems.
Our defense heritage spans more than 90 years, beginning with Telephonics, acquired by TTM in 2022, which designed and manufactured military radio communications equipment, including the flameproof CTE-26003A U.S. Navy telegraph key.
Today, that heritage continues across TTM’s support for U.S. and allied defense programs, from air and missile defense to maritime surveillance and communications. The recent addition of TTM Epiq builds on that heritage with open-architecture, AI-enabled software-defined radio ("SDR") technology.

Electronics Behind Modern Defense Systems
- Air and Missile Defense. TTM supports air and missile defense programs with advanced electronics. Our work includes RF assemblies, electronic hardware, and PCBs for the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor ("LTAMDS"), PAC-3, Sentinel, TPY-2, SM3/SM6, and SPY-6. These contributions support the development and production of radar systems used in integrated air and missile defense.
- Advanced Surveillance Systems. TTM develops radar and surveillance systems for demanding operational environments. Our AN/UPR-4 Passive Detection & Reporting System ("PDRS") is a critical technology supporting the U.S. Army’s Air Missile Defense Planning and Control System ("AMDPCS") and the Integrated Battle Command System ("IBCS"). Integration of PDRS within the AMDPCS/IBCS system serves as a critical survivability enabler of the IBCS network through the incorporation of long-range passive IFF surveillance and GPS spoof detection.
- Communications. Our wired and wireless communications systems support more than 50 defense and civilian platforms worldwide, including fighters and transport aircraft. They are designed for C5ISR integration, low size, weight, and power (SWaP), and operational readiness at TRL 9/MRL 10. Our systems are also designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) to ensure seamless interoperability across the Joint Force.
- Space and Defense Microelectronics. TTM designs high-reliability microelectronics for demanding space and defense environments, including radiation-hardened components and custom modules. Our broader advanced interconnect and electronic solutions also supported NASA’s Artemis II mission, extending this engineering expertise into crewed space exploration.
- Tactical Communications and Electronic Warfare. TTM Epiq adds open-architecture, AI-enabled SDRs, high-performance RF products, and radiation-tolerant space compute solutions to TTM’s product portfolio, supporting mission-critical signals intelligence and electronic warfare applications.

Expanding Domestic Capacity and Radar Capabilities
In June 2026, TTM opened a $130 million purpose-built Ultra-High-Density Interconnect ("Ultra-HDI") PCB manufacturing facility in Syracuse, New York. This facility is actively reshoring critical microelectronics and reestablishing the secure, trusted domestic manufacturing base the Department of War requires for complex, miniaturized electronics used in aerospace and defense. The investment strengthens the domestic supply chain for radar, missile defense, space, and autonomous systems.
TTM is actively investing in advanced radar technologies for manned and unmanned aircraft while addressing the emerging asymmetrical threat of drone warfare. Our MOSAIC Active Electronically Scanned Array ("AESA") radar family is designed for counter-drone, maritime surveillance, and advanced air mobility missions, with operational modes including sense-and-avoid, air moving-target indication, maritime search, inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging, small-target detection, and weather mapping. MOSAIC is purpose-built to meet MOSA requirements and address the SWaP constraints of today’s programs. It can easily be integrated into both legacy and next-generation platforms.
From individual components to integrated systems, TTM combines engineering expertise and manufacturing capacity to support the Joint Force and the defense companies that equip it.
