TTM’s Women in Technology Employee Resource Group -
Building Community through Empowerment

Founded in March of 2022 and later established as an official Employee Resource Group ("ERG"), our Women in Technology ("WIT") ERG is a networking group focused on empowering women. WIT fosters an environment of shared experiences, goals, concerns, questions, and a place where ideas are freely expressed. 

WIT is a vibrant community open to all employees looking to learn, grow, and make a tangible difference in women's experience at TTM. It offers a space where members can build meaningful connections and collaborate on professional growth opportunities, as well as discuss roadblocks they have encountered. Through our network of internal and external speakers, the group provides peer support network, ensuring our colleagues have the resources and community they need during challenging times.

The ERG has gained strong support from our executive team, demonstrating our organization's commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace. Our VP of Human Resources participated in a WIT-sponsored discussion focused on Career Development Planning, offering valuable insights and guidance to members navigating their professional journeys.

WIT is not just focused on career-based skills. The group has hosted roundtables on a number of important topics, including: 

• Work/Life Balance
• Mental Health
• Safety While Traveling
• Imposter Syndrome
• Stress Management
• Boundary Setting (professionally and personal) 

In addition to creating an inclusive space for our employees to share their career and personal experiences, WIT has formed an Outreach Subcommittee. The subcommittee has partnered with organizations such as Got Sneakers?, One Warm Coat, and Girls Inc. Through our Outreach Committee, members are supporting our local communities. 

Looking ahead, WIT aims to develop a mentorship program designed to welcome new members and cultivate the next generation of female leaders at TTM.
